How Does Talk Baby Talk Work?
Talk Baby Talk antenatal sessions last for approximately 1 1/2 hours and are on a one to one basis so as to provide you with a truly individual approach towards having your baby. They can take place in my own home, but I also offer visiting you in your own home depending upon where you live.
They are informative, based around a different theme each week, but informal and with time for discussion. You can choose to have a no-obligation introduction session to Talk Baby Talk which costs £10. Within this session we will discuss your plans for labour and birth, the sessions that I have to offer you, and which sessions will suit your pregnancy and individual needs. Should you wish to continue with classes following this introduction session, you will need to choose a course of 5 sessions of your choice picked from the list detailed on the antenatal classes page, at a cost of £75 for the course of 5. Other sessions can be added onto the end of your course for a separate fee of £15 per session. Click here for more details of sessions available. If you do not wish to have an introductory session we can discuss your needs free of charge over the telephone or via e-mail, and payment of £75 will need to be paid in full at the first course session. Concessions are available so please do enqire if applicable.
The aim of Talk Baby Talk is to provide you with the information and support that you may require in order to make informed choices regarding your pregnancy and in the postnatal period with your new baby. Because I work with you on an individual basis the sessions can be totally geared towards your own needs and requirements, whether you are having a hospital birth, home birth, expecting your first baby, twins (or more), being induced or having a planned caesarean. With information and support it is hoped that you will feel empowered, confident and happy in the decisions that you make and in looking after your new baby.
Talk Baby Talk Antenatal is especially good for first time parents, refresher courses or women who were not happy with their experiences in a previous pregnancy or labour.
